Welcome to The Dog School! Dogs. We love dogs! The Dog School, (formerly Canine K - 12 ), was started in 1987 when Jamie Shaw, the founder and owner, saw a need for a new kind of dog training. We use the theory of animal learning to train and teach dogs to be very user-friendly for their owners. We use love and gentle training methods to teach our canine friends how to live in a human world. While our homes seem like a natural place for dogs, to them it is a strange and confusing world. |

| Rope toys look like fringed carpets and squeaky toys look like children's toys. Your dog doesn't know where the bathroom is or when it's okay to bark. They have so much to learn. | We also work with older dogs and dogs that have behavioral issues. While specializing in aggression problems we also help solve separation anxiety, why your dog won't come when you call, how to stop your dog from jumping on people and more. We believe in spoiling dogs! We do it with our own dogs and we wouldn't expect you to do anything else. It's okay with us if your dog eats "people food" or sleeps in your bed. If those things don't cause problems we're all for it. We only want to make your life with your dog the best it can be!
