Why ever go to the kennel or a daycare? We believe a dog needs constant attention and playmates for health and well being.
Imagine your dog staying in a loving home while you're away, having two hour hikes in the woods, a pond to swim in and extensive training on coming when called! Sledding in winter. Couches and cuddles and car rides. Several dogs to play with and an acre+ yard to romp in. Someone with your dog at night. No crates! That's what you get when you board with us.
Dogs are hiked daily, trained throughout the day and get a complimentary bath and nail clip before going home. There are always comfy dog beds to rest upon and a human ready to pet and care for your dog. We are more than happy to care for dogs with special needs. Many of the dogs even sleep in bed with Jamie or her daughter. There is no extra charge for us to supply food, give medication, walk or spend time with your dog.
We cater to every dog we board. Your dog can be hiked on-or-off leash at your request. We train the dogs several times a day addressing topics that you want your dog to learn. You can speak with many owners who say their dog comes home better behaved than ever before! While dogs may be left home for up to four hours at a time – though uncommon – at The Dog School dogs have constant doggy playmates and almost constant human interaction. Again, your dog will not be crated and your dog will not be alone overnight.
You will receive emails and pictures of your dog while he or she is boarding (via our Facebook page).
